When you make an extra sale because there is enough inventory for an unexpected opportunity, you may have earned extra profits from inventory management.  If you have ever thrown out obsolete products, discounted expiring inventory, or ever paid an expedite fee, you may have lost profits due to inventory management.  Inventory management is the skill of balancing investment in inventory against the probability of uncertain events.   Invisk is an online, interactive teaching lab for learning to make the decisions on investing in inventory.

Easy to use

Each turn represents a week in the life of a company.  You need to decide how large of an order to place this week, and how many additional units need to be rushed to your warehouse.  It is easy to make the purchase, but challenging to decide how much to purchase.  The sales forecast won’t be accurate, and the deliveries may be delayed.  Every factor costs you money, and your performance is measured in final profit.  History will give you some insight, but the decision of how much to buy this week is ultimately yours.   Tour the features.

Easy to share, including your results

Everything you need to assign a lesson or to share a lesson is contained in the link to the web page.  Each new lesson has a title link that can be sent to one or to thousands of student.  Each student will get a their own link when they play the game, and will get another new link every time they play the game.  If they choose to share the results of their lesson, the student simply sends the link, by email, web form, twitter, or however they want to send a link.   List of lessons

Easy to get started
